About Michael
Michael Gormley is the Mission Evangelist for Paradisus Dei, a ministry dedicated to helping men, couples, and families discover the superabundance of God. He travels to parishes to lead missions, retreats, staff formation, and men's formation. He has worked for the Church since 2005.
From 2005 to the summer of 2023 he served full time on parish staff, first in youth ministry and later in adult faith formation, while also speaking and consulting for parishes, dioceses, and Catholic campus ministries. In 2023 he joined Paradisus Dei.
Michael is the founder of LayEvangelist.com and the co-host of two Catholic podcasts, Catching Foxes and Every Knee Shall Bow. He is married to his college sweetheart, Shannon, and they have four children and get three hours of sleep a night, which is fine by him.
